The Stage/Multi-Stage Course is designed to teach trained divers how to extend bottom times and/or penetration distance through the use of stage cylinders.
Divers will learn to plan dives that may incorporate longer bottom times, complex dive planning, and multiple methods of gas management.
In this course, you will learn
- Equipment considerations
- Gas planning and gas management techniques
- Dive planning including decompression obligations
- Stage Diving techniques suitable for the cave environment
Prerequisites
Dive experience (IANTD): For Technical Cave: Must provide proof of a minimum of 25 logged Cave Dives. For Technical Mine: Must provide proof of a minimum of 25 logged Mine Dives.
Prerequisite certifications
min age 18 / time commitment 3 days / max depth Dives may not exceed divers maximum certified depth
